Daewoo Sens 2002-2008 is the first front-wheel drive model of a class C sedan, developed by Ukrainian engineers of the ZAZ-Daewoo brand. The model was based on the already familiar Lanos, which has established itself on the roads of the post-Soviet space. Outwardly, Sense is not much different from a related model.

Under the hood, the Ukrainian car received a 1.3-liter engine with distributed electronic injection. It works in tandem with a 5-speed gearbox, which is used in Tavria, but with a modified gear ratio of the main pair. The clutch is hydraulically driven. To prevent the driver from accidentally turning on the reverse gear, a lifting ring is installed on the shift lever, like in Opel.
