Since 1911, the first car has been produced. There is an opinion that Duran assembled the car without the help of other people. For that time, the equipment was very expensive - $ 2500. For comparison: Ford cost 860 dollars, but the price eventually fell to 360 - there were no buyers. The Chevrolet Classic-Six was considered a VIP. Emblem Oddly enough, the signature cross or bow tie was originally part of the wallpaper. In 1908, William Durand stayed at a hotel where he tore off a repeating element, a pattern. The creator showed his friends the wallpaper and claimed that the figure looked like an infinity sign. He said that the company will be a huge part of the future - and he was not mistaken. In 1911 the logo consisted of cursive Chevrolet. Further, all the logos changed every decade - from black and white to blue and yellow. Now the emblem is still the same “cross” with a gradient from light yellow to dark yellow with a silver frame.
