In 2019, the second-generation Chery Tiggo 7 show car was presented at the Guangzhou Motor Show. The front-wheel drive crossover went on sale in 2020. If we compare two generations of the model, then visually it seems that these are two different cars. At the front, the novelty has acquired a completely different grille, narrow head optics with DRL (inscribed in the air intakes). The body was changed almost beyond recognition (original stampings appeared on the hood and doors).

TECH SPECS:
In technical terms, the crossover received more dynamic powertrains. The first is a petrol 4-cylinder 1.5-liter unit equipped with a turbine (the manufacturer's own development). It is compatible with 6-speed manual transmission or CVT. The second engine is a 1.6-liter turbocharged counterpart. It only works in tandem with a 7-speed dual-clutch robot. Despite the multi-link suspension, the car remains front-wheel drive with no options.

EQUIPMENT
The very first thing that catches your eye is the massive central tunnel. The climate control module is located on it under the console. The multimedia complex received a 10.25-inch touchscreen monitor (in the top-end configuration it is even larger - 12.3 inches). Instead of the usual tidy, a color screen is also installed. Among the electronic buns in the car, there is adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, blind spot monitoring and other useful options.
