In 2018, the BYD Song SUV underwent restyling, thanks to which the car retained its youthful design, but now more in line with modern trends in the automotive world. At the front, the car received more aggressive elements (an enlarged grille, similar to the mouth of an animal, sharp edges near the headlights and stamping on the hood). The exterior has been updated in line with the styling vision of the company's new chief designer, who previously worked at Audi.

Since in the past the hybrid SUV in the new generation received a separate hybrid modification, there is only one engine in the engine line of this model. This is a 1.5-liter turbo four, which is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, or with a similar robotic dual-clutch transmission.

EQUIPMENT

The interior in the 2018 BYD Song restyled model turned out to be more restrained than that of the previous version. The console now has a minimum of physical buttons. Most functions are now controlled via a 12.3-inch multimedia screen (can be rotated 90 degrees). The front seats are electrically operated using buttons on the door card. Inside, despite its restraint, the car doesn't feel boring.
