The 2018 BYD Qin Pro DM is a plug-in hybrid version of the exclusive front-wheel-drive sedan that has been revamped with a redesign of the company's chief designer. The exterior of the model stands out from the general background of all previous cars of the Chinese manufacturer. The hood got a more sloping shape, and the body - smooth lines of bends, making the side of the car more like a liftback than a sedan.

TECH SPECS:
Under the hood, the main unit is the same 1.5-liter internal combustion engine with a turbine and direct injection. It works in tandem with an electric motor, which is already used in other models of the brand. The hybrid installation is more focused on increasing the power of the main engine. The power reserve on a single charge is modest (only 82 kilometers), but in order to get to work and back, this is quite enough. To replace the transverse beam at the rear, the suspension is now multi-link independent.

EQUIPMENT
The interior design is minimalist. All physical buttons have been moved from the center console to a 12.8-inch touchscreen that takes up most of the space on it. Only the button for turning on the on-board system and the control of the climate system remained. All other functions are activated via the menu on the screen.
