With the change of the company's chief designer, the BYD range of cars has significantly changed its appearance. An example of this is the 2018 BYD Qin Pro. A former employee of Alfa-Romeo and Audi has brought a new twist to the popular class D sedan. The car has smooth curves, and in profile the car looks more like a liftback than a sedan. The optics at the stern have changed significantly. It remained in the same style with a backlit strip connecting the two lamps, but now this element looks much more aesthetically pleasing.
