Genesis brand revealed its first elite crossover

Representatives of the Genesis company showed photos of the debut crossover premium. Recall that this brand is the property of Hyundai. It is expected that the new product will compete with the Mercedes GLS and BMW X7 models. A full presentation will take place in January 2020.

The photographs show that the crossover is made using unusual design solutions. Firstly, forked headlights are striking. Secondly, the car stands out with a large grille. To create a premium crossover, a new architecture based on RWD is used.

Experts predict that this car will make serious competition in the market due to availability. Although this is a premium segment, a car will cost significantly less than a BMW X7 or Mercedes GLS. Representatives of the manufacturer showed photos of the car. It looks expensive and spectacular, however, most likely, in reality, the inside of the crossover will look cheaper, more simply.

There are no exact data on engines yet. However, having information that the crossover will share the platform with the Genesis G80, we can assume the following: the car will be equipped with a 3.3-liter V6 engine (365 hp) and a 5-liter V8 (407 hp). Most likely, the model will receive an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The official presentation of the debut elite crossover Genesis will be held in Korea. After it, the novelty will begin to be delivered to the world market.
