Specialists of the magazine "Automobile" have identified cars in which it is most difficult to change engine oil. In this case, the procedure is not only expensive, but also very complex and time-consuming. Not surprisingly, the list includes mostly supercars and luxury models that cost their owners a lot - both in purchase and in maintenance.

Bugatti Veyron

The leader of the rating is a supercar that for a long time held the title of "The fastest production car on the planet." It takes 27 hours to change the Buagtti Veyron oil, draining the old fluid through 16 holes (plugs). Remove wheels, brakes, rear fenders and engine fairing. The whole event costs 20 euros.

Lamborghini Huracan LP

In the LP version of the Italian supercar, it is very difficult for mechanics to perform a seemingly uncomplicated procedure. It is necessary to remove most of the parts from the body, reaching eight plugs through which the old oil is drained. Most of the time is spent on disassembling the hood, which is fixed with 50 bolts.

Porsche Carrera GT

In this case, the big problem is access to the two oil filters, which also need to be replaced. Therefore, the work of a mechanic is estimated at a high price - 5000 euros, and this amount includes oil and the filters themselves. The price is also increased by the use of a special car lifting ramp, which is equipped with fasteners to ensure that the car is completely horizontal during the shift.

The Italian supercar has 4 oil fillers and is very difficult to access. It is imperative to dismantle all aerodynamic panels as well as the rear diffuser, and do this only with a special tool kit that is not easy to find. That is why the replacement is made only at specialized Ferrari service stations.

The British manufacturer estimates the cost of oil for its supercar at $ 8000, which is about a quarter of the model's annual maintenance costs (a pair of tires costs $ 3000). One of the most popular models used by celebrities and sports stars. Changing his oil is not so expensive - about 500 liters, which is a trifle for car owners. However, the procedure is not so simple, and Bentley firmly believes that it can and should be performed only in the brand's services, as it has some peculiarities. As long as it costs over $10 to replace an engine, it's really best to take the company's advice.
