6 Audi A3.0 Avant

The promised bread is eaten the most, the proverb says, and it's time to dine: the best A6 does have a Quattro and four-wheel drive at the moment, but there should be a three-liter, six-cylinder under the hood. direct injection cylinder turbocharger. 3.0 TFSI. Maybe because of these two proposals, over time, we will again have a bite of the promised bread, but now it is true.

For everyone who is afraid of overspending: on the test we recorded 12 liters, but we were not sparing and there were no less walks around the city than usual. If the driver wants a sportier driving experience, this number can quickly rise above 7, but don't expect it to ever drop below 15 and a half liters.

But below the line, this A6 is not a chronic gasoline alcoholic, although its engine is capable of producing a very healthy 290 "horsepower". Don't expect them to be very athletic, but they are lively enough to always have enough power headroom, that (German) highway speeds can be very high and that very light pressure on the accelerator pedal is enough to control the pace. traffic (also, therefore, moderate consumption). It doesn't sound too sporty even at the highest revs (and you wouldn't want that either), but at low revs the Audi A6 is quiet and smooth.

An automatic transmission (optionally operated manually with a ledge behind the steering wheel) isn't state of the art, but it doesn't have to be: the car doesn't need seven, eight or more gears, as the range's torque and useful speed are more than enough. Give yourself some peace of mind, shift the gear into D (or S if the sport really bites you) and drive. Even after snow, how the Quattro works is imperceptible, but without problems.

This A6 is fast, but not an athlete (despite the all-wheel drive and S line sports package). Thus, it is reasonably sprung comfortably that we cannot call it too sporty, and it would be even better if it had air suspension.

It will cost two thousand more, which is less than, say, the valuable leather that was equipped with the test A6 Avant, but you can also skip the black piano lacquer interior trims, heated rear seats, surcharge for a comfortable automatic air conditioning (regular automatic air conditioning is sufficient). ...

Because such an A6 Avant would be close to the ideal choice of machinery and equipment. The A8 owner who rode with him, after a few miles, clearly realized that if he had air suspension, he would be a better choice than the A8. ...

Of course, the rear seat is slightly less than in the A8, but except for those thinking of driving in the rear, it doesn't even matter, as there is more than enough space for (say) family use of the space. ...

And since we are used to the A6's good driving position and good ergonomics, there are no comments on this either.

So is this A6 Avant the best A6 at the moment? Not for everyone (some just swear by diesel engines), but still: yes.
