40 most amazing cars in the Alfa Romeo Museum
What's the best car museum in the world? Peterson in Los Angeles has amassed countless vibrant classics. The collection of the Princes of Monaco cannot be underestimated. Be sure to visit the Mercedes Museum, which starts with the first car in history. Like Ferrari and Porsche, not to mention the BMW Museum of High Technology and Innovation in Munich. However, those who regard the six-story Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in the Milan suburb of Arese as the greatest temple of the automotive industry are not entirely unfounded.
Alfa Romeo is currently going through a difficult period, having temporarily shrunk to two models and still aiming to make a big breakthrough in the premium segment. But we must not forget that this company has a 110-year history, far more than most of its competitors, and has made invaluable contributions over the years to both automotive technology and motorsport mythology.
There is hardly another company that is so ready to experiment, prototype and concept at a relentless pace and with the help of such geniuses as Nucho Bertone, Batista "Pinin" Farina, Marcello Gandini, Franco Scalione and Giorgio Giugiaro.
The company announced this week that it is expanding its collection with new, previously unseen exhibits. This gave us a reason to recall some of the most interesting cars in it.
